Seu BarbaContext
Seu Barba is my own product: a booking SaaS for barbershops. Customers book through the barbershop's link without downloading an app; the barber gets a ready-made schedule, the WhatsApp reminder reduces no-shows and the system closes out the month's cash and commissions. I did the naming, identity, app prototype and sales landing page in Figma; the next step is development, with the landing page in React.
Challenge
Booking systems usually look like office software, and a barbershop is the opposite of that. The challenge was to create something barbers would recognize as theirs (the feel of a classic barbershop, the photos, the language of people who cut hair) without losing the clarity of a digital product. The first version came out too dark; the second switched the background to cream, brought in real photos and a classic serif, and became cleaner and more barbershop at the same time.
The brand
From the name to the visual system, designed to work in the app, on the landing page and on the barbershop's Instagram.

Name and logo
“Seu Barba” (roughly “Mr. Beard”) is how customers refer to their own barber in Brazil: intimate, Brazilian and easy to remember. The symbol is the barber pole, the oldest sign of the trade, in a red square that works on its own as the app icon.
- 02 / 03
Palette and typography
Old-paper cream as the background, leather for text, the pole's red for actions, brass for the stars and bottle green for paid and confirmed. DM Serif Display for headings, like a hand-painted sign, and Inter for the interface.

Components
Buttons, fields, filters, free and booked time slots, booking status and the service card: the pieces that repeat in the app and on the landing page, designed once.
The app
Two sides of the same product: the barber follows the day and the register; the customer books in three steps, without creating an account. On every screen, a short title, one main action and color-coded status (red for now, green for paid and confirmed).
The landing page, section by section
The system's sales page, in the order the barbershop owner discovers the product.
- 01 / 09
Top
A direct promise (“A full chair, without living on WhatsApp”), a real barbershop photo, the phone showing time-slot selection, the WhatsApp reminder notice and the barber pole stripes framing the barbershops testing the system.

Made for barbershops
The reference's photo mosaic gained a purpose: next to the images, the product's three goals in big numbers (fewer no-shows, empty slots filled and a schedule open 24/7).
- 03 / 09
Features
Six features in cards with an icon and a one-line benefit each: online booking, WhatsApp reminder, per-barber schedule, commissions, subscription club and monthly register.
- 04 / 09
How it works
The customer's booking in three steps, with the screen for each: choose the service with price and duration, choose barber and time, get the confirmation and the reminder.
- 05 / 09
Barber app
The other side of the product: the day's schedule with the next customer highlighted and the month's register with commissions, plus the list of what the app takes care of.
- 06 / 09
Plans
Three plans (Solo, Barbershop and Chain) with the middle one highlighted, the monthly price in a big number and 14 days free with no commitment.
- 07 / 09
Call to action with photo
Inspired by the reference's “book your appointment”, with one difference: a dark gradient behind the text so the call stays readable over the photo.
- 08 / 09
Testimonials
Testimonials in cards with a barbershop photo, a serif quote and five brass stars.
- 09 / 09
FAQ and footer
FAQ in an accordion, answering purchase objections (do I need an app? does it work for solo barbers? is there a commitment?), and the leather footer.
Visual System
A classic barbershop with a clean interface: cream background, leather text and the pole's red reserved for action and highlights. Real barbershop photos set the mood, and the serif gives the tone of a hand-painted sign.

Next steps
With the prototype validated, Seu Barba moves into development: first the landing page in React, to start capturing interested barbershops, then the MVP with the customer booking link and the barber's schedule, followed by the WhatsApp reminder, the register and commissions.
Takeaways
A niche product has to look like it belongs to the niche. The dark version was pretty, but it looked like just another piece of software; what made barbers recognize themselves were the details of the trade (the pole, the sign-style serif, the photos of leather chairs and straight razors), applied over a light interface that leaves no doubt about where to click.
